Project 1_Tyler Bates

 

I started on my production in Adobe After Effects. I plan on making a short animation about a dog and bird fighting over the balloon. I finally got a hand on the different elements of movements for each element so production is going smoothly. I'm thinking about adding a small opening, then zoom into the animation scene. 

I ended up having to restart the whole production to increase the time of the overall animation. However, I was able to fix everything how I originally had it the first time and added a new scene. So far, the animation is 20 seconds. I plan on adding two scenes by the end of this week!

I went back and made an intro to the story! I realized that this is a collage animation, so I was planning on adding a lot of cameos to the story. However, it would only make sense if this all occurred in a dream, so  I added that element to the story.

So far, I progressed the story and added small dialogue to a couple of characters in the story. I got used to combining two layers to make them rotated and move around together. I want to add in transitions between each scene, so I plan on looking into that!

I've reached the climax of the story and moving towards the falling action of it. The animation is 45 seconds long and is going smoothly. I still plan on adding transitions to each scene. I also need to look for a song that could best fit this chaotic story! P.S. I didn't realize realize how useful changing the colors of layers are until now!

I've finished the animation! I wasn't sure what I should do after the space scene, so I wrapped it up by letting Ant-Man win at the end. I have some sound effects and a song to go with this animation. However, I forgot to save them together for the final production! That really hurts my pride a little, but I enjoyed working on it!
