  Week 2:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNcJg7TF5bI&ab_channel=JoudTanta

I enjoyed watching the Rasputin collage the best.  I liked how the motion of the characters and elements matched with the music and it overall seemed like a music video with the use of the singers and microphone scene.  The use of the violins and lyrics during the video also really tied it together as whole and I felt made it more unified instead of random pictures used here and there with some background music.

Week 3:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2uTFF_3MaA

I enjoyed The Beatles Yellow Submarine animation because of its hand drawn 2D look.  The video uses bright colors and at times has some chaotic concepts which I think are interesting/funny and have a "Beatles" touch.  The look of two dimensional animation has always been interesting to me and knowing that I have the tools to be able to create something similar is pretty cool.

Week 4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azf0BVBrJ0c

I enjoyed the Reservoir music video the best and I liked how you can tell it is hand drawn images with markers and you can see the markings from coloring the pictures in.  If you look closely you can see how there may be a few pictures that are each drawn looped but it gives the effect of something continuously moving.  I think the composition of this music video is very cool given that it is all done in the same hand drawn style.

Week 5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gz9-I_iEbY

The "Home Sweet Home" film was seemed to be a 3D animation that depicted houses as animate objects and gave them personalities like people.  In a way it made me think of Up because one house has more bright colors while the other is more dull and seems older.  There is also a smaller house which in my opinion represents a dog.  The characters of the film appear to be 3D animated while the background still looks more flat in some areas such as the trees.

Week 7: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CgflgbL5gw

I thought the printmaking animation was an interesting concept and resulted in 3 cool gifs.  I liked the first gif in the video the best and how it showed a story of the of urban legend of Aka Manto.  The process to create these gifs seemed extensive since the use of digital touchups and animation was kept to a minimum in order to protect the integrity of these prints.

STOP MOTION:

I think this is a cool video that shows the idea of cooking by using unusual elements to depict common foods used to make guacamole.  These videos are interesting to watch and to see when they cut the video to introduce another object or element into the story.
