  Week 2

This week I watched a variety of four animated videos. The one that I enjoyed the most was "The Bettles - Flying". I liked how everything was moving in an upward motion. Everything was very random but it was calming and easy to follow along. Especially with the video having a focal point of the man with a flower attached to him like a balloon.

Week 3

This week I watched a total of three animated videos. The one that I enjoyed the most was "Collage Animation - Mr. Sandman". My initial thought about this animation was that I liked the song and I also know the song. I also liked how everything was moving to the beat. The only two things I disliked about the animation were the multitude of bugs and eyes.

Week 4

This week I watched a total of three animated videos. The one that I enjoyed the most was "Happy Time. Short Film. Watercolor". Watching this animation, I enjoyed the fact that it was all different shades of one color. With them being those different shades along with the music a story was told even without words.

Week 5

This week I watched a total of three animated videos. The one that I enjoyed the most was "Ian Cheng". Watching this animation, I like that it's the only animation I watched with actual speaking. The animation is a trailer so each clip is intriguing making the viewer more likely to watch the actual thing. I don't like all of the magical lights but it makes the animation more interesting.

Week 7

This week  I watched a total of four animated videos. The one that I enjoyed the most was "Imagine Dragons -- Bird". Watching this animation was very calming yet eye-opening for me. Not with things I didn't already know but seeing that being different leads to bullying. Nothing is wrong with being different but when some people see that you are not quite like them they try to belittle others to make themselves feel temporarily better. I somewhat relate to this animation video because I am usually seen as different from everyone else. I don't get bullied but I just feel a sense of not belonging and being left out when I go around most groups of people. The storyline of this animation was really nice and even though there were no words you could tell what the general theme of the animation was about.

Stopmotion

I watched most of the stop motion videos and the one that stood out to me the most was the one name "Distortion". I believe the pieces are made out of some type of molding clay, either done by hand or digitally. I liked how in each scene there is a focal point that draws the viewers' attention. I also like how you don't know what is going to happen next. The content creator leaves the viewer in suspense. This stop motion is very calming for me and the sound effects help with bringing the piece together.

The second stop motion video I really liked was the one named "T-Shirt War". The two men had many different colored shirts with different graphics on each of them. I liked how they were able to make the objects on the t-shirts look like they were actually moving. I also liked how they not only used graphics from the shirts but actually man-made objects to play a role in the stop motion.
